How to Search and Export Results
A guide to Outrider's search and filtering tools, and how to export company lists and topic results for offline use or procurement documentation.
Overview
Outrider's search and export tools let you build targeted company lists and download them for use in source selection, market research reports, and procurement planning.
Using the Search Bar
The global search bar (top of every page) searches across company names, technology descriptions, NAICS codes, and topics simultaneously. Use quotes for exact phrases: "machine learning".
Applying Filters
On the Company Directory or Explore Topics pages, use the filter panel to narrow results by:
- Technology domain: AI/ML, Cybersecurity, Sensors, Biotech, etc.
- Set-aside status: SDVOSB, WOSB, 8(a), HUBZone
- Contract vehicles: GSA MAS, SEWP, CIO-SP3, etc.
- TRL/MRL levels: Use sliders to set minimum/maximum thresholds
- State/region: Filter by company headquarters
Saving a Search
Click Save Search after applying filters. Saved searches appear in your sidebar and can be set to send email alerts when new companies match your criteria.
Exporting Results
Click Export on any filtered list to download a CSV or PDF. The CSV includes all displayed fields. The PDF export formats results as a market research attachment suitable for procurement files.
Bulk Selection
Check the box next to individual companies to build a custom list, then export just the selected records.
