For Government Agents: How to Connect with Industry

Overview

Outrider gives government agents a streamlined way to find and connect with technology companies that match active procurement needs. This guide walks you through the full workflow.

Step 1: Sign In to Your Government Account

Navigate to platform.outrider.app and sign in with your .gov email address. If you haven't created an account yet, select Create Account and choose the "Government Agent" role.

Step 2: Browse the Company Directory

From your dashboard, click Industry Partners in the left navigation. You can filter companies by:

• Technology focus area (AI/ML, Cybersecurity, Logistics, etc.)
• Contract vehicle eligibility (SBIR, GSA Schedule, etc.)
• Company size and set-aside qualifications
• Geographic location

Step 3: Review Company Profiles

Click any company card to open their full profile. Each profile includes a capability summary, past performance highlights, certifications, and NAICS codes.

Step 4: Initiate a Connection

When you find a strong match, click Connect. The company will receive a notification and can respond directly through the platform. All communications stay on-platform for transparency and compliance.

Step 5: Track Your Connections

Use the My Connections tab to monitor outreach status and follow up with companies you've engaged.
