Challenge Overview
GSA manages shuttle and vehicle fleet operations across hundreds of federal facilities. Current tracking and dispatch systems are fragmented, leading to inefficiencies in vehicle utilization, passenger wait times, and fleet maintenance planning.
Required Capabilities
- Real-time GPS tracking: Sub-30 second update intervals for all fleet vehicles
- Passenger-facing apps: ETA display for stops; capacity alerts
- Dispatcher dashboard: Live map, alert management, route deviation detection
- Ridership analytics: Peak usage reporting to optimize routes and schedules
- Maintenance integration: Mileage-based and fault-code-triggered work orders
Integration Requirements
Must integrate with existing GSA fleet management systems (FleetDrive 360 or compatible) and support FedRAMP Moderate authorization. Mobile app must work on government-issued iOS and Android devices.
Performance Standards
- 99.9% system uptime during operating hours
- Average passenger wait time reduction of 20% or greater
- Full deployment at a pilot site within 90 days of contract award
